In 2023, Foremedia Productions directed and produced The Home Depot’s Halloween installation video, showcasing large-scale seasonal displays and immersive in-store experiences. The production was completed in collaboration with Pirello Digital Imaging and Hartmann Studios.

The goal was to create a visually striking, atmospheric film that elevated Home Depot’s Halloween merchandise while maintaining commercial clarity and brand consistency.

The Challenge

The project was executed on a large sound stage, where the entire environment had to be constructed, lit, and controlled from the ground up. The primary creative challenge was achieving a cinematic, convincingly eerie atmosphere while ensuring the products remained clearly visible and commercially compelling.

Balancing mood with merchandising required precision in lighting design, lens choice, camera movement, and art direction. The visuals needed to feel immersive and dramatic—without sacrificing product detail or brand presentation.

Directed by Oral Berat User, the project focused on building layered lighting environments that created depth, texture, and tension. Working within a fully controlled studio environment allowed for meticulous shaping of light and mood. The production design emphasized dimensionality, contrast, and spatial flow, ensuring each installation felt immersive yet product-forward.
